CuePrompt Terms of Use

Last updated 6 August 2026

In short: Record whatever you like, including commercially. Voice-follow and delivery scoring are best-effort tools, not guarantees. The app is provided as-is.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of CuePrompt (the “App”), an iOS application published by Daria Efremova, trading as AcutaLabs (“AcutaLabs”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.

The App is also subject to Apple’s standard End User Licence Agreement for licensed applications, which applies in addition to these terms.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

Scripts you write and video you record with the App are yours. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial purposes. We claim no rights over them.

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you record, including any laws requiring the consent of people who appear or are audible in a recording. The App does not obtain consent on your behalf.

4. Voice-follow and delivery feedback

Voice-following uses on-device speech recognition and is inherently approximate. Accuracy varies with language, accent, background noise and microphone. A manual and fixed-speed scroll mode is always available as a fallback.

Words-per-minute, filler-word detection, pause flags and take scores are informational estimates intended as rehearsal aids. They are not professional coaching, assessment or accessibility services, and should not be relied upon as such.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Some features require a paid unlock. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Prices and plans are shown in the App before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings; refund requests go to Apple.

A lifetime unlock, where offered, is a one-time purchase tied to the Apple ID that made it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law; not to redistribute or resell the App; and not to use it to produce material that is unlawful or that infringes another person’s rights.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. Because the App runs on-device, installed versions continue to work without any service from us.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted recording, any particular recognition accuracy, or that recordings will be free of defects. Always keep a backup of important footage.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AcutaLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost recordings, lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the App.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
